Trudeau’s Foreign Policy: The First 100 Days

On February 1st, 2016, NPSIA, in partnership with the Canadian Foreign Policy Journal, iAffairs Canada, and Carleton’s Faculty of Public Affairs presented “Trudeau’s Foreign Policy: The First 100 Days.

This 1 day event set out to evaluate Trudeau government’s foreign policy agenda during its first 100 days.

Some of the featured speakers included Peter Schiefke, Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister for Youth Affairs; Nancy Coulas, Director of Energy and Environment Policy from Canadian Manufacturers and Exports; former NDP foreign policy critic Paul Dewar; Peggy Mason, President of the Rideau Institute; and Brian Lee Crowley, Managing Director of the Macdonald-Laurier Institute.

Topics discussed included Climate Change and Environment, Security, Youth and Development and Trade.
